Family Services Center
FSC is a not-for-profit mental health agency servicing the Illinois communities of Wilmette, Glenview, Northbrook, and Kenilworth, as well as New Trier and Northfield Township residents. FSC provides affordable, accessible, and high-quality counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families within the community who are seeking help for a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. FSC further supports its community by providing crisis response support, health and safety assessments, outreach, education, and consultation.
Boys Hope Girls Hope
BHGH is an international organization centered on cultivating youth empowerment through the foundation of education and holistic support. Operating in 16 cities in the United States and Latin America, Boys Hope Girls Hope utilizes structured programming adapted to the needs of each community, unique curriculum, and partnerships with local schools and universities. Service pathways include residential environments, academy programs, continuing support of collegians and community-based after school programming, and though different in format and location, all programs build on consistent core elements.
Northfield Township Food Pantry
The Northfield Township Food Pantry assists Township residents who are unable to provide enough food for themselves and their families. The Pantry's mission statement is simple: Hunger is Unacceptable in Our Community. The Northfield Township Food Pantry distributes perishables and non-perishable food and grocery store cards to residents of Glenview, Northbrook and Northfield who are unable to provide enough food for themselves and their families. The Pantry relies entirely on the support of the community to provide this much-needed assistance. No tax dollars are used to supply the Pantry.
Sr. Paulanne's Needy Family Fund
For over thirty years, Sister Paulanne's Needy Family Fund, under the leadership of Sister Paulanne, has answered the call of those in our parish and comunity who are in financial crisis. As awlays, every single dollar donated to the Needy Family Fund remains here to serve these local individuals and families. Each client is treated with the utmost dignity and confidentiality. The goal of the Fund is to provide hope, assistance, and encouragement to clients, so thay may move to a self-sustaining life whenever possible. During 2017-2018, Sister Paulanne's Needy Family Fund served over 130 families ranging from 1 to 11 members. Additionally, 63 students were able to purchase all their back-to-school supplies and clothing. You can help. Our online donation form makes it easy to contribute.
Youth Services of Glenview / Northbrook
Youth Services of Glenview / Northbrook believes every child should grow up happy, healthy and hopeful. Mission: We foster the social and emotional well-being of children and youth. Vision: To be the center of collaborative social-emotional support for children and youth. History: The agency was founded in 1972 in Glenview and in 1974 in Northbrook as the community’s response to the needs of children. Because both agencies shared the same mission, they merged in 1992. Since that time, Youth Services has grown to offer programs focused on early intervention, intervention, and crisis response.
Titans Helping Titans
Titans Helping Titans (THT) is an organization that helps promote a meaningful school experience for all Titans. This organization assists in meeting the basic needs of all Glenbrook South students, which in turn increases overall school pride, raises academic achievement, and builds stronger connections between students and adults. Furthermore, Titans Helping Titans helps remove barriers to resources and opportunities that are available to students with greater financial means.
